After a number of years with a leading Italian firm, Niccolò Landi founded his own practice in Milan in 2017. Studio Legale Landi services corporate clients and provides an independent platform from which Niccolò is able to develop his growing practice in international arbitration and commercial litigation with a focus on corporate law and international commercial contracts.


Niccolò has served and serves variously as presiding arbitrator, sole arbitrator and counsel in arbitrations administered by the Milan Chamber of Arbitration (CAM), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC) and in ad hoc domestic Italian and international arbitration proceedings. He also acts as administrative secretary to tribunals before the ICC and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).


Niccolò is a member of the International Centre for Disputes Resolution (ICDR) Panel of Arbitrators and Mediators. He is former co-chair of Arbit - the Italian Forum for Arbitration and ADR (2016-2017) - and current member of the Advisory Board of Arbit. Niccolò has acted as a member of the Global Advisory Board of the International Center for Dispute Resolution Young and International (ICDRY&I) and as a Vice-President of the Alumni Association of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot (MAA).


Niccolò is President of the Supervisory Body established under the Legislative Decree No. 231/2001of several multinationals, overseeing their compliance with all applicable corporate governance and ethical rules.


He lectures on arbitration-related topics at the University of Roma Tre and at the University of Turin. He also teaches the “Master in Public Procurement Management for Sustainable Development” and “Master in International Trade Law” courses at the International Training Centre of the International Labour Organization. Niccolò has published extensively on international sale of goods, private international law, antitrust and international arbitration.


A member of the Milan Bar, having graduated in law from Siena University, he holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the University College Dublin. Admitted to the Italian Supreme Court. Niccolò is fluent in Italian, English and French.
